VIRGINIA ANALOG WEDDING & EVENT CINEMATOGRAPHER
Traveling Worldwide

To legally deliver your final wedding film, I’m required to use properly licensed music. This means the songs featured in your delivered video will come from professional licensed music libraries that allow me to share your film online and provide you with a downloadable copy safely and legally.

That said, when you post your wedding film on social media, platforms like Instagram and TikTok often offer their own music libraries and trending audio options. You’re welcome to add any available song or trending sound to your post directly within the app after delivery.

In fact, when I share wedding films on social media, I’ll often pair clips with different trending audio or popular songs to better fit the platform and reach a wider audience — while still keeping your official delivered film fully licensed and protected.

FAQ

16mm is a professional motion picture film format that’s been used in documentaries, indie films, and classic cinema for decades. Compared to Super 8, it creates a noticeably sharper, cleaner image with richer detail, smoother grain, and a more cinematic look overall. It still has all the organic texture and emotion of real film — just with more depth and polish.

The reason 16mm costs more comes down to both the film itself and the production process. The film stock is significantly more expensive, the cameras and lenses are larger and more specialized, and each roll captures less time than Super 8, meaning more film is needed throughout the day. Processing and high-resolution scanning also cost more because everything is handled at a higher professional standard.

In short: Super 8 feels nostalgic, dreamy, and home-movie inspired, while 16mm feels more cinematic, refined, and filmic in the traditional movie sense. Both are beautiful — they just create different experiences.

Raw, unedited footage is not included in my wedding deliverables, but can be purchased separately for an addtional fee.
Raw footgae is similar to handing over the physical negatives.

Beacuse raw footage files are exteremley large and require additonal time, storage, exporting, organization, and processing, the cost for purchasing raw footage varies depending on the total amount captured on your wedding day.
