With a deep appreciation for analog filmmaking, and a background in film photo from SCAD and App State, I’m especially drawn to the way film captures people in a softer, more organic, and timeless way. The texture, motion, grain, and imperfection of film that feels deeply human to me.
That’s also why I choose to create fully film wedding films rather than mixing film and digital. For me, shooting entirely on film allows the story to feel seamless from beginning to end. Digital can sometimes interrupt that feeling. The texture shifts, the tones change, and the emotion can feel less cohesive.
I simply love the way film renders people. The softness, the movement, and the natural tones. It has a way of making moments feel more alive and flattering without it feeling overly polished or artificial.
My goal is never to simply just document a wedding day; it’s to preserve the feeling of it. Super8 (8mm) and 16mm video are the mediums I use to capture your day emotionally honestly.
It’s such an honor to preserve these memories for people, and I truly don’t take that lightly.
